Making music and entertaining has been in my life since I was putting on shows with my best friend at the age of 4, through stage concert and theater and into pop music and rock and roll. It is my soul. I’ve been in LOTS of bands and groups over the years, nearly always playing or writing original pieces. Music has taken me around the country and introduced me to some amazing people and memorable places. I play most rock instruments well, though bass guitar and I have had a longstanding love affair since we met in 1993. Writing songs and recording with my pro and semi-pro network of confidants is where it’s at right now.
John Bonham is my hero. His spirit worked through an instrument better than anything on the planet. I have moments when I’ve touched levels of greatness like that. They are moments of pure joy. Any music done well, with intention and passion speaks to me. I have a soft spot for late seventies and early eighties punk rock and new wave.
