Andrea travels to Italy to break up with her fiancee, Richard, who has inherited a villa in Venetto that he intends to make their permanent residence. The product of high class, urban living, Andrea puts her own comfort and status before the man she has promised to marry. It’s just not meant to be.
When Andrea arrives at Villa Terrior, Richard is no where to be found and clues around the villa indicate foul play. She is now alone, in a strange and unwelcoming region and worse yet, without her fiancee she cannot complete her break-up mission. She will need to find him to break it off or there will never be closure for her…but that’s only the beginning.
Villa Terrior harbors a dark secret and a long history of disappearance that is well know to the locals, who avoid it at all costs.
With the help of two well meaning Australian tourists and a pragmatic detective they slowly uncover the truth about Richard’s disappearance and the connection to vanity locked away in a bedroom at the end of the upstairs hallway of the villa.
